Tokyocube (shop.tokyocube.com) is a London based online business which promotes Japanese lifestyle across the UK and the rest of the world.

This was the first project to use our new eCommerce solution, and it really put it to test! Not only did the team at Tokyocube require the site to be an advertising window for Japanese designer merchants, the merchants needed to be able to switch between English and Japanese with the click on a button!

Each merchant logs on to a product and order management system and manages the products they sell, process orders as they come in etc.

Tokyocube themselves then translates product descriptions, adjust images etc before the products are published on the site.

The system automatically collects revenue share from the merchants, and produces financial statements and sales reports.

The actual website operates like most normal eCommerce sites, but keeps track of the merchants' product stock quantities, even down to specific sizes or colours of clothing.

Tokyocube can also control the order and position of individual products on screen for marketing purpose.

The Tokyocube site is managed through SPIKA's new monitored hosting service.

This project was delivered in eight weeks. The graphical design was made by Tokyocube's own designers. We have purchased a few fashionable Japanese handbags for our wifes whilst testing the system, and they had the desired effect, so we recommend their products warmly!
